Virginia only runs emissions testing in Northern Virginia. Virginia Beach is exempt, so no shop there does it. It was advertised in their AutoOps booking list, which feeds Google. Worth telling them: it was bringing in searches they can never serve.

Their briefing doc had the answer
The one you downloaded this morning says, in their words, that price shoppers on oil changes and basic maintenance are what is blocking them. We built the deck off the website and never opened it.

Hey Joseph, Andre had his call with Master Tech Auto on the GMB audit and upgrades and passed the feedback on to me. Wanted to get it to you while it's fresh.
It went well. They liked the idea, the dashboard went down really well. They gave Andre some really helpful feedback as well, and we believe this is a good opportunity to level up. So read this as fine tuning, not as anything being wrong with what you built.

The bigger thing I'd like your help with
None of the above is on you.
Three problems, and I'd rather you solve them than me, since you're closest to how the audit actually gets built:
Have a think and come back to Andre and I in this thread about how you'd approach it.
Thanks Joseph · cc Andre

Where it stands
Everything above is live. The proposal, the knowledge base, the FAQ and the September posts all carry the corrections. The page is still behind its sign-in, so only MasterTech and the team can open it.
Two checks now run on every build. One reads the client's own words and stops the build if a document claims work they do not do. The other catches Australian English. Neither would have caught the other's problem: facts need the brief, phrasing needs a wordlist.
Exhaust is the one open question. It is on their profile, has no page on their website and is not in the brief. Nothing we have written claims it either way. One line from Andre or the client closes it.
Two things for the next client, not this one. The lean version, and the two-stage delivery. Both are written up, and the client page already supports the second.
One ask for Waheed. Three new fields on the briefing doc: the work they want more of, the work they do not want leads for, and the work they do not do at all. That template is yours, not ours.
